O R D E R

                A verified petition having been filed by the petitioner RUTH A. PITA, of legal age, single, Filipina and resident of Leuteboro II, Socorro, Oriental Mindoro, through counsel, praying this Court that after due notice, publication and hearing, judgment be rendered by ordering the Local Civil Registrar of Socorro, Oriental Mindoro as well as the National Statistics Office, Quezon City, to correct the records of birth of the petitioner on file with the Local Civil Registrar of Socorro, Oriental Mindoro and with the National Statistics Office, Quezon City, her gender from “MALE” to “FEMALE”.

                Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, let the same be set for hearing on August 10, 2010 at 8:30 o’clock in the morning before this Court sitting at the Hall of Justice, Pinamalayan, Oriental MIndoro, with notice to any and all persons interested to show cause why the said petition should not be granted.

                ACCORDINGLY, let the copy of this order be published at the expense of the petitioner once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the province of Oriental Mindoro and let the same be served upon the Local Civil Registar of Socorro and Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro; the National Statistics Office, with office address at Vibal Bldg., Corner EDSA and Times Street, West Traingle, Quezon City; the Solicitor General, with office address at 134 Amorsolo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City; the Provincial Prosecutor of Oriental Mindoro and all persons named in the petition.
